2020 Gift Guide - Gifts For Toddlers

2020 Gift Guide - Gifts For Toddlers

Today for our third installment of the 2020 Gift Guides we’re focusing on toddler gifts! Toddler gifts are my favorite to buy because not only are they for the kids in your life, but they’re also for you because you’ll no doubt be playing with them as well.

Uncle Goose Planet Blocks - Uncle Goose makes several different block sets which are all equally impressive. We personally have the 50 States of Music set which are impeccably designed and well crafted, but also light so if your kid throws/drops/dumps them everywhere you don’t have to worry about losing a toe.

Forest Mushrooms Basket Toy Set - I couldn’t resist this adorable mushroom set! Since quarantine we’ve been spending a lot of time going on walks and foraging for random treasures so I thought these mushrooms could be a fun addition to our toys.

Ollie Ella Mushroom Bag - Ollie Ella makes the cutest little bags. Another great option is their Chari bag which can attach to a scooter or be worn as a backpack.

Kids Video Camera - We bought this for our daughter to use on our road trip which was a lot of fun. I’m actually really impressed with how quickly she learned to use it. If pictures are more your style, this camera is another awesome option.

Hi Ho Cherry-O - Games make awesome toddler gifts! Every player has their own fruit tree and they need to pick all their fruit first to win in this classic game. It’s super simple and fast-moving which makes it perfect for younger kids but still delivers enough replay value to keep adults entertained. This is one of our go-tos for the awkward time in between dinner and bath when you don’t want your kid to start a long activity but you have some time to kill. Here are some of our other favorite games.

Kinetic Sand Construction Site - We’re huge fans of kinetic sand and this cute set is perfect for contained play (it comes in a folding container). We have the kinetic sand baking set and it’s been a staple for at least the last six months.

Dino Egg Dig Kit - Hands down one of the very best toys we’ve ever purchased. These little egg dig kits provide endless entertainment, last for a really long time and are one of our go-to gifts. They have other sets where you dig for fairies, unicorns, pearls, etc.

Super 16 Wooden Toy Camera Handheld - I’m clearly a lover of all things camera and video-related and this seems like a super fun analog version.

Walker Goods Lil Louie Sling - This is the cutest little kid-sized fanny pack from a family run business that I love following on Instagram. They always provide endless travel inspiration and I love the fact that you can buy a matching adult fanny pack to match your little mini.

BANWOOD Critters Kids Helmet - Since kids need to wear helmets, why not get them a super cute one like this little critter helmet?!

Ookkie Skateboard - This was our best purchase during quarantine. It’s seriously so much fun and my three year-old loves it. Here’s a video of her riding it if you’re curious what it looks like in action.

Vans Classic Slip Ons - Who doesn’t love a classic pair of checkered Vans?! Sweeten the gift by buying a matching pair for Mom or Dad.

Meri Meri Mia Rainbow Doll and Meri Meri Tallulah Hula Doll - Classic well-made dolls are always a good option for holiday gifts.

CreateOn MagnaTiles - This looks like a cool twist on the classic MagnaTiles. They also have other versions like a rocket ship or barn.

Blockaroo Magnetic Foam Blocks - These waterproof foam blocks seem like excellent bath time fun!

Green Toys Pull Wagon - Christianne’s two year old daughter has this and is a huge fan!

Treehouse Play Set - I already have a dollhouse from Target but if I could do it all over agin I would definitely buy this cute treehouse.

Beaumont Mini Kids Bike 16" - Sadly my little one never took to her balance bike so I’m excited to add a training wheel bike to the mix and cross my fingers that she likes it.

PlanToys Beehive Sorting Game - Little kids love sorting!

Hape Marble Run - We got this marble run for my daughter’s 2nd birthday and we’ve been using it ever since! We’re planning on getting one of the extension kits this year to make it even more exciting.

Odin Parker Wooden Calendar - I love any gifts that have an educational aspect. We have the weather version of this and we’ve been using it for years.
