Listen, none of us thought we would still be in quarantine during the holidays, but here we are. If you're like me, you're into cheesy holiday photos, but the reality is that making them happen might be a little challenging this year. Maybe money is tight, or the thought of going out and getting professional photos during a pandemic is a bit too stressful. We decided to have fun with a little impromptu photoshoot at home! Here are some tips for making the best of it depending on your budget.

  1. When taking pictures with a toddler, just know that you only have a limited amount of time and they will not smile when you need them to.

  2. Set up your shoot near a window with lots of natural light coming in. If that's not an option, get yourself a selfie lighting ring . Great for Zoom meetings too!

  3. If you don't have an amazing background for your pictures, buy one! We found our fireplace backdrop for $15 on Amazon.

  4. Wear whatever you want! They are your pictures! Have fun with them.
