YELLOW! My sweet little girl's favorite color. It's bright, just like her! Recently, she discovered a newfound love for lemons, which feels very on-brand for a yellow enthusiast such as herself. She wants to hold them at the grocery store, she requested a lemon cake for her birthday, and she even pretends our beach ball is a giant lemon lollipop. We had some extra felt and the idea just hit me: make a lemon purse!
Since I don't have a sewing machine and the idea of hand-sewing things never really excites me, I decided to just hot glue this baby together. I added grommets so I could attach a strap, which I may update in the near future so she can actually wear this over her shoulder. Seeing her eyes light up when I show her a completed project is why I do this. She inspires me to create, and I'm forever grateful for that inspiration.
