12 Thoughtful And Ultra Cool Tattoos Ideas That Celebrate Parenthood

12 Thoughtful And Ultra Cool Tattoos Ideas That Celebrate Parenthood

I have a lot of tattoos. I started my ink journey when I was 16 - my first one was done by a postgrad art student in Toronto that was apprenticing. Each time I get a new tattoo I put a lot of thought into each one. The art has to hold meaning for me and I love sketching out ideas for the tattoo artists to interpret. Each one is a reminder of my personal history. The last time I got a tattoo was really special. It was to commemorate the birth of my first daughter who is now 2.5 yrs old. And now, only 2 months postpartum, I’m already itching to get my next one to celebrate my baby.

Here’s 12 ideas (mostly designed and tattooed by women!) to consider, if you’re thinking about getting inked for your babes!

  1. Get a retro minimal photo style tattoo.
